Fairview's increasingly popular summer festival, Chili on the Green, has been renamed to Fairview on the Green. The date of the festival has moved up a month to August and the event hours have been extended to 8:00 pm. Don't worry Chiliheads, the International Chili Society sanctioned chili contest will remain a corner stone of the festival. Other new features will include a larger arts and crafts festival area, an enhanced beer and wine garden operated by local restaurant favorite Bumpers, and a new silent auction tent featuring local products and materials from the business community.
